“Autumn” Bombay Bicycle Club.

Tonight at Bombay Bicycle Club was amazing! I had The beautiful and talented Lucy Rose sign my shoe. She said it was her first time ever doing that and that my sister, new friends (Mackenzie, Morgan, and Tyler), and I were her favorite people because we were smiling and dancing and singing all the words to all of the songs. (Taken with instagram)
I had the blues but I shook them loose.
Here’s the official list of songs my NaNo was written to:
Bombay Bicycle Club “How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep,” “Shuffle,” “Still”
Dawes “Love is All I Am,” “If You Let Me Be Your Anchor”
Happiest Lion “Harvester, Golden Gowns of Glee”
Iron & Wine “Fever Dream”
Patrick Wolf “Idumea,” “Souvenirs,” “The Gypsy King,” “Theseus,” “The Stars”
Andrew Bird “Sovay,” “A Nervous Tick,” “Measuring Cups”
and Finished out with: Cat Power “Sea of Love”
“There’s a movement
out the door
I swear but no
your lips they stay perfectly still”
—the last 2,000+ words of my NaNo has been brought to you by this song.
Can I wake you up, can I wake you up
Is it late enough? Is it late enough?
There’s a story in which my eyes shut
Could you back me up? Could you back me up?
—the last 2,000 words of my NaNo brought to you by this song on repeat.
my life is in the songs.
